The inspiration behind our Stealth base layer originates from a simple question: why do typical base layers usually have a poor fit, and why do some of the more modern base layers seem to be too form-fitting? Our mission became to create something completely different: a layer that had to be undetectable, breathable, thin and light, while also being warm. Thermal underwear are often regarded as seasonal clothing designed solely for colder climates and northern latitudes; a misconception we wanted to challenge.

The Highland Smoothshell™ used in our Stealth-collection reacts both to the outside temperature and the temperature of our bodies. It feels warm and dry in cold temperatures, but doesn’t heighten the body temperature even in warmer weather conditions – regardless of body type or intended use.

When selecting materials for the Stealth collection, our top priorities were feel and fit. The starting point was obvious: ECONYL® yarn would be used on the inside of the knit, as it’s unmatched in creating that “barely-there” feel. The outer surface, meanwhile, is made from mulesing-free, responsibly sourced merino wool.
